Posting Christmas Cards and Parcels
It gets so busy at this time of year, Christmas shopping, visiting friends and family, Christmas parties, wrapping presents and writing Christmas cards BUT do you know when your last posting date is?
If you are not quite sure, then you are in the right place, keep reading.
Last recommended Christmas posting dates for 2013
The recommended international surface mail dates have now passed so if you need to send overseas these dates will be important to you.
Fri 29 Nov – Airmail to Operational BFPO’s. Please make sure that you get the right date as the dates for Afghanistan will be different than those of BFPO numbers in Germany or Cyprus. You can find more information about posting cards and parcels to BFPO addresses here.
Wed 4 Dec – Asia, Far East (including Japan), New Zealand.
Thur 5 Dec – Australia
Fri 6 Dec – Africa, Caribbean, Central and South America, Middle East
Mon 9 Dec – Cyprus, Eastern Europe
Tue 10 Dec – Canada, France, Greece, Poland
Fri 13 Dec – USA, Airmail to static BFPO’s. If you follow the link above you can get more information about posting items to BFPO addresses.
Sat 14 Dec – Western Europe (excluding France, Greece, Poland)
Wed 18 Dec – 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For
Fri 20 Dec – 1st Class and Royal Mail Signed For, Parcelforce Worldwide express48
Mon 23 Dec – Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, Parcelforce Worldwide express24
