Jordans Mill Spring Fayre
Jordans Mill Spring Fayre took place over the weekend of 21st and 22nd May. Amongst lots of other local businesses, Card Crush had a lovely stall of greeting cards, stationery and gift wrap. It was a great opportunity for me to display a selection of products that I sell and to see the reactions of people stopping by.
It was also a great opportunity to meet and chat with other local businesses too.
What was on offer?
It would have been a huge task of taking everything from the website so I decided on a selection of greeting cards with Father’s Day in mind (19th June), a variety of some of my favourite wrapping paper and packs of the best selling note cards. To try an entice people to visit the website I offered a special deal on P&P for those shopping over the weekend too.
Some of the brands that I took along included, Caroline Gardner, Molly Mae, Jane Means ribbon and our brand new Dandelion Stationery cards and jotters which made a lot of people smile!
These were certainly the main talking point amongst our visitors and it was lovely to see everyones reactions. I really enjoyed talking to people about the lovely products too, something I don’t get to do very often as an online business.
I am busy planning some new gift wrapping workshops and so it was a great opportunity to promote them and also to see what people wanted to learn. I have a few people interested and so I am keen to get started.
There was a fantastic atmosphere amongst other stall holders and lots of people were looking around. With a good variety of different stalls, hopefully all the visitors enjoyed it too.
Did you visit? If so, what did you enjoy?
